After the success of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, it is time for the second instalment of the franchise, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, to hit the screens.
One didn’t really see a franchise being built around this title but producer Aanand L Rai has done that with yet another different subject being explored.Shubh Mangal Saavdhan dealt with erectile dysfunction and many wondered if such a taboo subject would be accepted by the audiences.
However, smart promotion and marketing ensured that the Ayushmann Khurranna and Bhumi Pednekar starrer reached its select target audiences.
The film turned out to be a surprise decent success at the box office and though it wasn’t a major grosser, it did well enough for its cost.Now the same is expected out of Ayushmann Khurranna and Jitender Singh starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan as well.
Yet again, there is a middle class set up to the film and the costs are in control.
The film isn’t the kind that would cater to the larger audience base from the first day itself but the look and feel is something that is relatable to the family atmosphere.
The first day of the film is expected to be in Rs.
8-9 crores range and post that it would all boil down to how the storytelling has catered to larger junta.');
